The Redland Sinfonia’s exciting new program, Piano Showcase, puts the Sinfonia’s beautiful Yamaha C7 Grand Piano into the hands and fingers of a new generation of aspiring pianists. With ages ranging from 10 to 16 years, our four gifted soloists will experience the joy of performing a piano concerto movement with the Redland Sinfonia, making their debut with an orchestra while entertaining the audience with their fresh approach.
This inaugural concert in the Piano Showcase series will appeal to all ages, and also features orchestral music from the Peer Gynt Suite, The Lion King and Candle in the Wind by Elton John, and the exhilarating Latin American sounds of Danzón No. 2.
