Experience Melinda Schneider’s heartfelt tribute to Doris Day, the beloved girl next door who left an indelible mark on stage, screen, and song.

Australian chart-topping singer-songwriter Melinda Schneider returns to celebrate the life and legacy of the legendary Doris Day in A Farewell to Doris. This nostalgic concert is a beautiful homage to Doris’s iconic work, featuring timeless hits like Que Sera, Sera, Sentimental Journey, Everybody Loves a Lover, and Secret Love. Schneider also performs classic songs from Doris’s famous films Calamity Jane, Love Me or Leave Me, and The Pajama Game, alongside her big band standards.

Melinda’s connection to Doris Day began when she was just eight, captivated by Calamity Jane and the boundless joy Doris exuded on screen. “I thought she was everything a woman could be,” she shares.
“Whenever I revisit some of her old movies, I’m transported back to that place, a place of happiness and pure joy”, added Schneider.

Melinda has since dedicated much of her career to honouring Doris, with acclaimed albums and sell-out shows that have resonated with audiences across Australia.
