The following transaction fees apply

  • online fees - $6.40 per transaction
  • over the phone fees - $5.30 per transaction.
  • in person at the Box Office - no transaction fee

Transaction fees may be subject to change on 1 July each year.

The following concessions are available and proof of eligibility must be presented to RPAC staff upon request when showing tickets to enter a performance.

  • Unless otherwise stated, a child concession is available to patrons aged 14 years and under.
  • Seniors discounts apply only to holders of QLD Government Seniors cards or QLD Government Seniors Business Discount Cards.
  • Pensioners discounts apply to holders of Centrelink Pension Cards and Veterans Affairs Repatriation Health Care Cards.
  • Student discounts apply only to fulltime students studying in Australia with a valid student card.

Customers who hold a government issued Companion Card are eligible for one complimentary ticket for their companion when purchasing a ticket for themselves.  This is available online and via the Box Office. For further assistance please contact Redland Performing Arts Centre on 3829 8131. 

The availability of discounted tickets for concession card holders is at the discretion of the production promoter and the types of discounts offered may vary per performance.  Some concession types and promotional offers may not be available online.

For Musical Melodies performances group bookings of 10 or more people must be booked via the Box Office over the phone or in person. They cannot be booked online

To discuss the requirement of your group and to find out if any special group rates apply to the show you are interested in please call the Box Office on 3829 8131.

Group bookings for other performances are available online. However if any members of your group have access requirements then bookings must be made via the Box Office over the phone or in person, so that we can accommodate your needs.

Tickets purchased online and over the phone may be collected from the box office during standard RPAC Box Office operating hours, or from one hour before and up until half an hour following the start of the performance.

Tickets not collected half an hour after the start of the performance will be forwarded to the front of house coordinator for collection in the foyer.

Tickets purchased online and by phone may be posted for an additional fee of $3.40 per transaction, provided the booking is made no less than 14 days prior to the performance.

You can expect to receive your tickets within 3 to 10 working days.  Please be aware that the Box Office is closed on Sundays and Public holidays and so expect post to take a little longer to reach you if booking online in one of these periods. 

RPAC believes in fostering an appreciation of the performing arts in young audiences as well as providing an environment in which all patrons can enjoy live theatre.

Everyone attending a paid performance at RPAC, including children, must hold a valid ticket for that performance except babes in arms (under 12 months), who will be admitted to performances to be nursed in a parent's arms.  Babes in arms must remain in their parent's arms at all times.

Baby change facilities are located in the disabled toilets of both RPAC buildings and in the Ladies toilets in the Concert Hall building. For a full list of facilities visit our Access page.

Performances are indicated as being suitable for children based on the information and advice provided by the producers of the performance. However, please read the supplied information on each performance and check out the relevant web links/video footage to determine if a performance is suitable for your particular child prior to purchasing​ a ticket.

Latecomers may not be admitted into the auditorium until there is a suitable break in the performance. This is at the discretion of the production company. Please contact RPAC Box Office for details specific to the performance you have purchased.

The right is reserved to vary advertised programs and to add, withdraw or substitute artists as necessary.

Refunds

In line with Live Performance Australia (LPA) RPAC will only offer a refund or exchange if an event is cancelled or rescheduled (and you cannot attend the rescheduled date). The new date and time period to opt out of transferring to a rescheduled performance will be provided and you must contact RPAC within the specified notice period if you are not able to attend the new date and require a refund. No exchanges or refunds are possible except in exceptional circumstances (in these situations, refunds or exchanges may incur an administration fee, and subject to approval from 3rd Party venue hirers and promoters). No refund will be given for tickets downgraded to a lesser value.

Ticket exchange policies vary per production. Please contact the RPAC Box Office for details relating to the production you have selected. For productions in which exchange is authorised, the exchange can only take place between two performances of the same production.

All ticket exchanges are subject to availability and must be carried out in person at the RPAC box office a minimum of 24 hours prior to the ticketed performance. An administrative fee of $4.30 per ticket applies. Should a ticket be exchanged to a performance or concession type of higher value, the patron will be liable for the administrative fee plus the difference in price.

Please report lost or stolen tickets to the RPAC Box Office as soon as possible. Duplicate tickets will only be issued half an hour prior to the performance from the Box Office.

Gift vouchers are available through the RPAC Box Office and can be redeemed online, over the phone or in person at the Box Office.

Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase and full terms and conditions are available here.

There is no expiry date on a customer credits that has been received due to a show cancellation. Credits can be used for new show booking over the phone or in person. The full amount of the credit does not need to be used in one transaction.

Tickets for events at RPAC are only sold through the RPAC Box Office. We do not sell any tickets through third party ticket agencies and we advise that patrons only buy tickets directly from the RPAC Box Office.
