Access and Facilities
We are located at 2-16 Middle Street, Cleveland, opposite the Cleveland Police Station and Courthouse.
The RPAC Box Office is located in the Concert Hall Foyer, which is through the Piazza.
The Box Office is open Monday-Friday from 9am to 4pm and 1 hour prior to all performances. The Box Office also serves as the main reception enquiry location for the centre.
RPAC offers a number of access and special assistance initiatives. If you would like additional information about any of these initiative or the facilities available at RPAC please contact the RPAC Box Office on 3829 8131.
Seating for patrons with accessibility requirements and Companion Card holders are available to book online and via the Box Office.
If you require further assistance, please contact the RPAC Box Office so we can accommodate your needs.
Please let us know if you need to:
- access seating at the end of a row,
- if you need to avoid stairs, or
- if you need to remain seated in a wheelchair.
Wheelchair seating can be provided on row E of the Concert Hall and can be accommodated in all other Centre venues. There is lift access to the balcony in the Concert Hall for people that are able to move from their wheel chair or walker into a venue seat.
RPAC provides an Induction Loop Hearing Assistance system in the Concert Hall for patrons who require hearing assistance. Headset receivers are available for collection prior to the performance from the Box Office, or patrons can use their own hearing aids to access the system by switching them to the T position.
The Induction Loop Hearing Assistance System is available for all performances in The Concert Hall. Please book tickets via telephone or in person at the Box Office so that our staff can advise you on the best seating for picking up the Loop System, and so that they can book you a headset receiver if one is needed.
Please allow extra time prior to the start of the performance to collect the receiver from the Box Office.
The Box Office is also fitted with a hearing loop system.
Auslan interpretation is provided for a select number of performances and workshops and this will be included in the more information page for the performance or event.
A select number of performances include live captions. This will be included in the more information page for the performance.
Each year RPAC also screens a number of films that are captioned.
There is an accessible toilet located in the Concert Hall foyer and in the Auditorium/Events Hall foyer.
There are two accessible parking spaces on Middle Street in front of Redland Performing Arts Centre. There are another two disabled parking spaces just to the left as you enter the patrons’ Car Park, which is located next to RPAC. Entry to the car park is at the very end of Middle Street.
There is also a curb side drop off point at the side of RPAC, located to the right just as you enter the patrons’ car park.
Guide dogs are welcome at RPAC.
Customers who hold a government issued Companion Card are eligible for one complimentary ticket for their companion when purchasing a ticket for themselves. Bookings are available online and via the the Box Office.
Concessions are also available for many performances at RPAC for Seniors and Pensioners. For details of which concession cards are accepted please visit the Concessions Policy section on the Ticketing Information page.
Baby change facilities are located in the disabled toilets of both RPAC buildings and in the Ladies toilets in the Concert Hall building.
There is no ATM machine at RPAC.
The nearest cash-point is at the Westpac branch in Cleveland, on the corner of Middle Street and Bloomfield Street.
