Songs, Stories and Soul from Family and Country

ARIA-nominated, award-winning Indigenous singer and songwriter Emma Donovan will grace the RPAC Concert Hall stage as part of her Til My Song is Done Regional Tour.

Emma has been touring the country for over 20 years, delivering soulful songs and sharing powerful stories with audiences worldwide. For this captivating concert, she will bring her trademark soul/country tunes to the stage, including her latest powerhouse tracks, ‘Blak Nation’ and ‘Til My Song is Done’.

Emma is proudly one of the First Nations artists spearheading efforts to put traditional languages on the music map. This captivating concert features songs recorded in Gumbaynggirr and Noongar languages. She will also share stories, providing her audiences with an understanding of Country and community.

Having first appeared on stage with her renowned family band, The Donovans, where they performed church song renditions, Emma has since become one of Australia’s most revered voices. Her illustrious career has included touring and recording with artists such as Paul Kelly, The Teskey Brothers, Paul Grabowsky, Spinifex Gum, the late Uncle Archie Roach AC, and Aunty Ruby Hunter. Emma has also been a part of the highly esteemed Melbourne rhythm combo, The Putbacks, and the extraordinary Black Arm Band project.
